Re: 1967 Power Glide Numbers
Bill-----
Unfortunately, the number/letter sequences that you've provided do not follow "convention" for Powerglide units of the period. However, that's not too unusual since I've found that, for automatic transmissions, there are, seemingly, no real "convention" as to markings-----different marking systems seem to be used. About all that I can get out of these markings is that the transmission was assembled in Toldedo, OH on the night shift. That doesn't say much since most Powerglides were manufactured in Toldedo and all Corvette Powerglides used during the 63-67 period were manufactured in Toledo. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1967 Power Glide Numbers
Joe, I appreciate the post. I have figured out the Toledo/Night thing, but I can't figure out the 09-17 NF6H thing. This is a Spring of 1967 car and I can't believe the Transmission (If original to this car)would be correct being 09/17/66? Thanks, Bill- Top
