I recently purchased windshield trim retainer clips from Long Island Corvette and found them to be unusable due to their incorrect configuration. They are so poorly reproduced that they will not allow the trim to be inserted without breaking them. At $46.00 for a pack of 23 they are ridiculously overpriced regardless of there cheap quality. Does anyone know if usable pieces are being made by anyone? If so please advise. Thank you much

Re: 67 windshield moulding clips
hello. i just recently replaced the windshield in my 1966 coupe with a properly date coded windshield. i also used new trim retaining clips. i bought mine from corvette central in sawyer michigan. i had them installed by a professional installer and he said they woked fine. i also had to replace an upper corner trim molding using a corvette central piece, it fits great. a word of advice, have the installer use sealer on both sides of the windshield gasket, or it will leak. if you need corvette centrals address or phone number, please feel free to e-mail me. brian- Top
