C2 decklid striker plate rivets

The striker plates for my deck lid need replacing. Ordered a set and was wondering how to set the rivets. They look solid, is there a special tool for this, and where do you get one? Checked at a couple body shops and a hardware store, with no luck. Any help would be great thanks

I use a pair of small steel plates, one on either side of the rivets and dished on the back side to hole & locate the rivets post. A pair of vise grips and a bowl of cheerios will do it. And the outsides rivet head looks like the original. I like this as it is safer than using a hammer and a buck.

Donald's advice is right on. When setting the first rivet, go slowly so that you get a feel for how much force is needed to deform it. The rivets were easier to deform than I had anticipated.
