Crane energizer type rocker arms

I have talked to three different people at Crane about putting this type rocker arm on a 327 300hp,one tells me to use a double thick gasket another tells me to grind the out side rockers and the last one tells me it will not work. Anyone out there had a try at this? These are the regular orange covers not the aluminium covers. Thank You in advance.

IMO you're throwing your money away. Stick with the OEM rocker arm system.
