The original #263 coils I have seen have the number embossed towards the top of the coil, as opposed to the bottom like the #207. I haven't seen any with the decal on them. Did it originally have the decal as the others, and if so, where was it placed.

Rob -- you're right; I'd never noticed the high emboss before. There's one on eBay right now (link below), and there's definitely not enough room for the TI sticker to go above the coil #. I wonder if they put it on the opposite side, because it should be in the upper half to avoid damage in the coil holder bracket.
Checked two NOS 207 coils that I have, and both have the number low on the cylinder, with the sticker centered at the top.
