Can anyone describe the visor mirror that was part of the convenience group option. Was is a simple glass mirror bonded tot the right visor or was it lighted electrically as well? I would appreciate a description of it. Thanks.

Re: 1977 Convenience Group Option
I reread your message and realized you're looking for a little bit more background. Yes it was included with the RPO ZX2 option and included underhood light, low fuel warning lamp (red), dome light, headlamp warning buzzer and interior courtesy lights.
Actually for 70's technology...the interior courtesy lights are pretty cool. Car stays lite for awhile until you've left the area...kind of like a precursor to the key fob we mash today that's light's our path to the vehicle. My 78 has the ZX2 and it includes a lamp at the rear tank area which lights the underneath of the area and gives it warm departure. I recall when judging a 77, the wires and fixture were in place...but the lamp device was gone. the car was equipped with the ZX2 option. Hope this helps.Tom Russo
