About 6 months back, I scrounged a set of NOS N11 off road exhause for my '66 BB coupe. I'm about to bolt it on, but am first having a plating shop sandblast the surface rust. Since I'm going this far, the shop offered to aluminize the whole system for a total of about $90 (with blasting).
I know I'll get knicked for finish when it comes to judging (It's a 50k original mile, 94.5pt car), but since I intend to drive it, I'm thinking about aluminizing the system to (at least) retard outside rust. I wouldn't think of aluminizing if NOS N11 wasn't $o hard to find. Opinions? Advice?
