C-3 1968 Battery Compartment Insulation

What is the correct material for the "insulation" in the Battery Compartment of a 1968 Corvette?
Color of insulation?
Foil Pattern?
Is the Foil on one side or both sides of the insulation?
How many pieces are required?
What is the approximate size of the piece(s)?
Is it just around the sides?
Or does it also cover the bottom of the compartment?

Steve I removed the battery compartment insulation many years ago. Do not remember if I saved it or through it away. My storage compartment insulation is still in place. From what I remember the foil was only on one side and it is a stiff/thick foil. It did not cover the bottom of the battery compartment.
