1979 L-82 Underhood Emissions Labels

I am looking for the two underhood emissions labels for a 1979 L-82. The various Corvette catalogues list the set but they seem to use a common database and the database is wrong! Order for an L-82 and you receive an X6 coded label for the cowl with part #14015504 (4 degrees BTDC timing, etc.). The correct label is coded AU and is part #360422 (12 degrees BTDC timing, etc.). Does GM still make these labels or is there a supplier that has the correct AU set available?

Hey Paul:

When I was in Orlando this past month, I stopped by a vendor that was display ing bunch of labels including late model C3 emission labels. I looked around for his card this morning but couldn't put my hands on it. But there are vendors who are providing these labels. I look some more later

I cannot as my 1979 is in commercial winter storage and I do not have access until April. But here is the label I received from Paragon for a 1979 L-82. It is code X6. You will see this on Rik's site also. It is obviously wrong. There seems to be a common database structure out there that perpetuates error! I offered to send this example back to Paragon by postal mail and get the correct one by return mail but no response. These labels cost about $2.00 and I really object to a $10.00 part charge, $10.00 handling, $15.00 UPS/FedEx. Plus brokerage and taxes to get it into Canada. I just want someone to pop one into an envelope for me and send by mail. Frustration showing tonight I guess.
