General Rochester Q-Jet P/N Question

I have a Rochester Q-Jet #7028209 that is going on my 68 427/390HP. I'm no carburetor expert, but I'm anxious to learn. So, in an effort to help me do so, a mechanic friend gave me an old Q-Jet lying around his shop that he's encouraged me to dismantle (and hopefully reassemble). The Q-Jet he gave me is #17056240. There certainly are similarities between the two, but they are not identical. Can anyone identify the model, year and application of the #17056240 so that I can search out the appropriate technical information, such as exploded views, etc.? BTW, I expect to receive the copy I ordered of Doug Roe's book on Rochester carbs soon.
