I'm looking at what appears to be on original set of ANCO wiper blade holders for a 66 coupe in pretty good condition. Guy is asking $300. This sounds awfully high but this is the first set of these I've run across in a while. Am I nuts or is this a fair price? Any

Not a fair price...Anco are rare, depending who you talk to, they are all over ebay for half that.

John - It sounds like more than I'd want to pay but I also don't need a set. Also, consider what wiper blade assemblies are "correct" for your '66. Both ANCOs and TRICO were used. The ANCOs have the peaked shaped top holder and the brushed finish and should not be the "red dot" or "turtleback" refill type. The TRICO configuration you'll want will depend on the time of production. Early cars used the brushed, flat top holders while later car used the '67 style with the peaked shaped top and brushed finish. BTW, I'm not sure that alot of the original configuration style ANCOs come up for sale since they were basically "non-serviceable", so let the buyer beware. PeteComment
