    re WCFB 2318S carb conversion

    On a WCFB 2218S, (first series) carb for a 55 corvette. can you convert this carb to a 2351S, ( second series ) carb and save the seven hundred bucks it costs to replace it. And if so who do we get the parts from? or who do we send the carb out to be changed.?
