dipstick felt seal

At my last judging, I had a point deducted for the missing felt seal on my dipstick. Is this seal available anywhere by itself? I have seen several vendors selling the dipstick complete, but have not seen the seal sold by itself. The new dipstick is not that expensive, but mine is the original and I would like to keep it if possible.

I was in the same boat with my 54, John. Got an old piece of felt from a "junk" dipstick, and made it work. I've never seen this seal sold separately. Chuck

Thanks Chuck,
I was looking for an easy, no-brainer way out. I will probably head the to the Home Depot this weekend in search of some grey felt, and if they don't have any, then I will go junkyarding.

I didn't know of a felt - I assume it is just a circle inside the "cap" on the handle?
