Can someone tell me how to identify "original" trico wiper blade refills. I have a pair that have the correct ribbing and several patent#s, but nothing identifying them as trico. I believe original anco refils had the word "ANCO" on the rubber blade.

Rob - First, yes the "original" ANCO rubber wiper had ANCO plus a patent number, 2782444, embossed on them.
Second, the "original" 15" 66-67 TRICO rubber wiper has the 3 horizontal ribs but does not have TRICO on it but it does have several US and CAN patent number embossed on the top of the rubber wiper plus the words PATENT PEND. The wiper blade refill has a "slideable Latch-Lock with clasping at one lever end"and a metal vertebra with 23 "backbones."
