    C3 (1968) 427/400 coil question

    I have a 68 427/400 HP car .. how do I know if I have the correct vintage ingnition coil ... the only numbers on the coils are 287 ... but I understand that this coil was used over a period of years is there any type of date code or special features I should look for ?

      "287" is the correct coil for your application. There were no visible date codes on these coils that I am aware of.
