I have the entire dash out of my 1974 Coupe (454/Auto/AC) to insulate the floor and solve some of the poor HVAC air flow problems. The problem is, I can't seem to get the heater box (Selector Assy?) out. I have removed all the fastners I can find from the passenger side and one from the engine side. It is loose except for the lower right corner still seems to be attached and I can't locate anymore fastners. The coolant recovery tank is removed along with the blower motor. I don't see anythink else in the AIM and the Haynes manual is not very descriptive. What am I missing?

Lee, I just did the same thing on my wifes 73 no-air. I think there are 6 studs with nuts. 4 in a square pattern on the box and 2 at the fan motor, above and below the fan. somebody had put nuts on 2 studs inside the engine side box and I had to remove the engine side box to find out what was going on.
