Lawrence,
Both your speedometers are reading faster than they were before at the same road speed . You need to buy transmission driven gears with more teeth. One tooth changes the speed by about 1 1/2 mph measured at 50 mph. If you know how many rpm's you were turning at 50 mph before the gear change then you should be able to get close using this method. The gears are color coded so if you can find out what color is used for your tranny and 3:55 gears that would be an easy fix.
I bet Joe Lucia knows. This is only going to be accurate if you have the corrrect tire size. Good luck.- Top
