Original Bumper

I have a pair of 63-67 front bumpers that I am planning to have rechromed. There is a welded seam on the backside (as highlighted in the photo below) I don't want to bother having them redone if they are some sort of reproduction. I would rather spend the chrome money on originals. Can any of you guys tell me if the original 63-67 front bumpers had this seam, or should I look for an original pair?
