    FelPro Gasket

Can anyone tell me the CORRECT FelPro Intake Manifold gasket number for my 1967 327/300HP. Everytime I seem to get parts lately the parts people seem to provide something that is similar but not exact.

    Re: FelPro Gasket Addendum

My local parts store tells me to use FelPro P/N MS9617. I'm asking because I'm not sure what the port sizes are on my car. Some of the other gasket makers have different P/N listed for the different port sizes.

Felpro also offers a thicker gasket from thier standerd which is much better for sealing, just ask for it.

        Ralph -

MS9617 is for the "economy" gasket; the one you want is Fel-Pro #1256, which is the 1/16"-thick "Printoseal" gasket with the molded seals around all the openings.

          Nice Reading!

Fel-Pro has a booklet, "Gasket Installation Tips" that's free from most distributors. It explains the differences between parallel merchandise lines they offer covering the same application.... See how some places there are cork, improved cork, molded rubber, 1-piece molded rubber with internal strain relief, Etc.

            Re: Nice Reading!

The Fel-Pro Gasket #1256 sounds like the correct choice. I will check it out. I would also like to see the Fel-Pro booklet, "Gasket Installation Tips". Where can I find one??
