I understand the rear leaf springs from a 1957 to 1962 Corvette will interchange. The 1956 to 1957 have a part #3711550, the 1958 to 1962 have a part #3751438. Is there any physical differances between the two part # springs or any mounting differances etc or is it just a number & date change on the springs. Any info would be appreaciated.

Springs form 53 to 62 all can be inter-changed or used , but the FRONT hanger on 53 to 55 is different then 57 to 62 will make your vett sit to (high or low). part numbers I can't help with , but some one else will. -

Pat - As I understand it, P/N 3711550 was the production number. P/N 3751438 was the "service replacement" number, but was identical to the production spring. In addition to the P/N in the groove of the bottom leaf, will be a Julian date stamp.
