    67 headrest seats

It appears that the headrests are angled forward more on convertibles than on coupes. Were the headrest originally installed at different angles at the factory. ( I don't see any info in the assembly manual regarding this)

There are no differences in the seats of convertibles and coupes.

All the convertibles I have seen with headrests have been angled forward more than coupes. It has been suggested that the hardware was welded to the seat frame at a different angle to clear the deck lid. I've never seen a coupe with them angled as much as convertibles.

Rob, The headrests in my '67 convertible have always appeared at an angle similar to the headrest coupes I've seen. What usually jumps out at me is the lack of horizontal curvature in some headrests which are either reproduction or '66 headrests installed in a '67. Jim #2978
