    Correct belts on 71 w/AC

I would like to put back original style and type of fan belts on my 71.
Engine is a 350 270hp with power steering and A/C
Are the belts cut or wrapped.
What are the GM numbers and length of each.
Does anyone know if they are available from GM or after market.
    Thanks
    Ralph

        Caution....

the reproduction belts are faithful (cloth wrapped) but for them to fit/work, you really need to verify you have all of the factory original pulleys on the engine (most are stamped with P/N and should correspond to what's listed in your AIM book).

Next, if you intend to drive the car vs. show it primarily, I'd think twice about these reproduction belts. I broke two in less than a year on my '71 SB Air roadster and went back to current day, GM service replacement technology (die cut belts). I get partial credit on the judging field as they ARE GM sevice replacement belts and I've logged +50K miles on the car since doing Founders award four times without incident....

          Thanks,
Car is planned to show or drive to special events. I will get a set of cut belts for the trips.

            Re: Caution....

            Agreed.

Jack and I both have 1971 350270 w/AC's, and we've both had the same problem with the belts. I've got Goodyear Gatorback belts on mine now as I'm driving it now.
