1960 valve stem caps

Does anyone know of a source for the black plastic Dill 627 caps for my valvestems? It seems that all my catalogs only sell the metal caps which are only correct through 59. Several judges have told me that they are carried by many vendors, but I have yet to find any.

If you have an old gas station they may have a box with some mixed in also old lawn mowers or bicycles may have them. I have found them mixed in at local swap meets with newer caps.

John, They are available from Quanta. My 61 judging manual is silient on the valve stem caps, but based on your need I assume the 61 uses the plastic caps as well. Those plastic caps are also correct for the C3 cars as well.

Another place to find these is tire stores like Goodyear, Firestone, Tires Plus, etc.; and also salvage yards. If you don't find them,Email me.
