Anyone got any photos of mint condition or authentic original interiors? Specifically '76? We need to really see what the centre of the dash (ie from the radio up) looked like, or should look like - to judge whether the trim etc that we've got now is junk or not.

I don't have any pictures to send, but I can offer this:

The area that you are talking about sounds like the center gauge cluster and, possibly, the upper dash pad.

The 69-76 gauge clusters are all pretty much the same, with the 72-76 being virtually exactly the same. The only reproductions of the cluster bezel that I've seen have been perfect. I think that they are made by Trim Parts and ALL of Trim Parts reproduction pieces are superb.

The upper center console pieces (trim plate or A/C vent) are not reproduced, as far as I know. So, if you have these pieces, they should be original pieces. You can't get more original than original pieces.

The upper dash pads are, I believe, made by more than 1 manufacturer. I have heard of quality problems with these pieces. However, you'll never be able to discern it from a picture. Usually, the problem is fitment. As far as how they look, all of the ones that I have seen looked fine.
