    qjets on 1969 Vettes

Can somebody point me to a document that gives the original part numbers of the parts that go into the assembly of the original qjets on the 1969 Vettes?

    Jim-----

Most of the parts would be shown in a 1969 edition of the Chevrolet Parts and Accessories Catalog. Subsequent editions of the Corvette P&A catalog (beginning in October, 1969 Corvette got its own P&A Catalog for the first time) would also contain the part numbers for most pieces, but each subsequent edition may include supercesive part numbers rather than the original part numbers. Also, at some point in later editions of the catalog, some parts would begin dropping out of the catalog as their final iterations were discontinued from the GM Parts System.

        Re: qjets on 1969 Vettes

        Gentlemen,
        Thank you for your response.

My winter project is to rebuild the carbs on my 300 HP W/auto and 350 HP
        '69 vettes.

The 350HP carb looks to be original (48K miles) but the 300HP is service dated
although it still has a '69 date.

I have purchase several correct number carbs for spares, and they are all slightly different. Probably due to the rebuilders consolidation process. At a minimum, I would like to know the correct metering rod numbers and the the correct choke assembly part numbers.

        Thanks again,
        JimA.

          need the carb numbers

post the numbers stamped vertically on the drivers side above the secondary throttle shaft. should start with either 70 or 170.
