Need advice/help please C-3 General Info

Tomorrow if all goes well I will pick up my engine at the machine shop where it has been since September.
Since it was removed from my 68 Coupe many years ago, I can't recall if the sequence for reinstalling the engine into the vehicle is engine first and then the radiator or the radiator first and then the engine.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Kurt Bunting

As long as their both out I would do the engine first.

Sequence is unimportant as far as getting one in and finding that other won't. It's only important in risk management. The chances that you're going to crash the engine balancer or waterpump into the radiator while the engine is swinging from a hoist is nil when the radiator is sitting on the other side of your shop.

It's easier to install the radiator with the engine out of the car, but it's not like the radiator can't be installed with the engine in the car.

Good advise Gerry. If an automatic with trans installed I would do the radiator first but a 4 speed or engine and trans together I like the radiator on the other side of the shop too.
