      Re: C2 Exhaust Manifolds

For some reason, I have the #3750556 on the RT hand side, and I have a part # 3747038 on the LH side....Is this possible? Everything that I find says the 038 manifold is a RH manifold....Any ideas other than I have the wrong manifold on the drivers side? Thanks for the help

        Dave-----

The GM casting #3747038 manifold may be the correct RIGHT side manifold for your application. GM casting #3750556 was also used for RIGHT side application.

The LEFT side manifold should be GM casting #3846559.

It is VERY possible to install a 3747038 manifold on the left side, though. Small block manifolds are interchangeable from side to side. Now, this isn't to say that the '038' manifold is CORRECT on the left side, but it is POSSIBLE to install it on the left side. Your car has had almost 40 years for someone to do this.

All of the above assumes that you have a 65 with 250 hp engine or a 65 with 300 hp and powerglide. These were the only 1965 small blocks which used the above-referenced 2" outlet manifolds.

            Hi! Dave

I have a 1965 with a 250HP engine. The left exhaust manifold is 3846559 and the right is 3750556.
