    C3 WSW door relay valve

I was trying to locate the APC/page number in my AIM that points out the relocation of the vacuum relay valve from the upper firewall to the lower RH wheel well on my 69. Was this as a result of a particular option?

    Thanks in advance.

    John-----

Early 1969 Corvettes have the WSW door relay valve on the right side fender well. Later 1969 have it on the firewall.

I don't know the reason that this change was made, but it is possible that it had to do with some interference problem when the valve was located in the fender well. The only interference which could have been caused would be when A/C was installed. Even then, I doubt that the valve would have been a problem at its original location.

Thanks Again - Weird stuff - With no documentation available, whats your "best guess" for fastening the the relay to the wheel-well? I've sort-a seen a dual nut/bolt setup in one of the restoration rags...

Geoffrey - you don't have to go to the annex!
