    C1 Fan Shroud

Judging guide states shrouding is painted semi-flat black. Most I've seen appear to be a semi-gloss black. Which is correct? Thanks

It depends on whether the can you are using is half full
    or half empty.
I believe they are one in the same.

      Brian,
I belive that the JG is wrong on this issue. The blackout paint would be acurately described as semi-flat in gloss, while the shroud would be more semi-gloss to gloss in sheen.

I used Semi-Gloss Black on both the engine fan blades and the shrouds. I believe this is correct. Sure looks good anyway.

I'm with John - the engine compartment (body) blackout was done with a semi-flat paint, but the (steel) fan shroud was dip-primed prior to installation; the dip-primed parts exhibit a higher gloss level than the engine compartment blackout - I'd call it semi-gloss.
