    1968 Spindle inspection markings

Can someone provide input on how much of the spindle is orange. I know the JG says from 1" almost all or something like that. What has people seen. I have my right spindle I will be inspecting today so hopefully I can answer my own question. Any input would be great.

    Rob-----

Usually, the orange inspection "daub" is applied to just the lower end of the spindle section where the ball joint attaches. 1" is about right, but it varies. Like I say, this was an inspection "daub" and NOT carefully painted.
