    C-1 Ammeter Capacitor

    1960 car - I am ready to install the wax impregnated capacitor on the back of the ammeter. The capacitor has a black band near on end. Which capacitor wire goes to the ammeter lug? Which lug? For reference, laying under the dash looking at backside of ammeter, left and right lugs.

      Joe- I have a 62 Vette and on mine the black stripe end goes to ground ( gauge case) & the the other side was wired to the left lug(passenger side) on the ammeter.
