I am currently having problems uploading pictures to my gallery to use in a thread.I can go advanced, manage attachments, browse to my computer, select the picture to upload. When I click on upload, the little black spinning wheel spins, it continues to spin as long as I leave it there, but never uploads.I have gone to my profile and changed my avatar with no problems. So I am no sure but it appears to be on the web site end.Could you look into this and let me know what you think I should do.Thank you.dlh

Re: Uploading pictures
David,
You don't mention the browser you are using but a lot of members have been having trouble with Internet Explorer and uploading pictures. Try Google Chrome and see if that doesn't work.Administrator

David
Your browser is probably Internet Explorer which doesn't play as well with our website as Google Chrome does..
On the Technical Discussion Board you will need to use Compatibility View with Internet Explorer:
1) Open Internet Explorer for the desktop; depress Alt key, click Tools, and then click Compatibility View settings.
2) In the Compatibility View Settings box, add the problematic website URL, and then click Add.
Compatibility View is turned on for this single website, for this specific computer.

Re: Uploading pictures
Well my free advice was worth what you paid for it!
undo what you did, and then you can at least use the tech board. If you cannot load photos using IE, you will have to load on Chrome (or Firefox though I do not recommend that one) in order to load photos. You do not have to switch all you do to Chrome. Just use it for the NCRS website. You can have two browsers accessible on your PC.
Sorry I cannot be more help. As a last resort, launch a help desk ticket and provide all the browser information the Tix requests and one of the IT crew will give you best possible answer. Good luck- Top

Re: Uploading pictures
FWIW:I have not been able to post pictures from home using Firefox and Windows 8 & 8.1. I have to use Photobucket. I think it happened with Windows 8, but I am not sure. I tried from work the other day without success. There it is Windows XP Pro and IE (sorry I don't know the version if IE at this time). I can't use Photobucket from work, so I am limited now. Life goes on.Terry- Top

Re: Uploading pictures
Terry,
Are you using the Compatibility View Mode with Internet Explorer.
Chrome works great to upload photos. https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
