    no additional posts

Gary as a follow up I can only read posts 1-30 on the forum. I have received additional posts after 30 via email, however I can not see them on the Forum. Is there a page two somewhere?

    Charlie,

At the top and bottom of the each forum there are page numbers.
    TDB Thread Pages.jpg

If you're talking about a specific post having more than 30 replies. Post the link.

Also check your setting for hybrid mode in your profile settings.

      Re: no additional posts

      Charlie,

There is a setting in User Profile under General Settings that controls "Number of Posts to Show Per Page:". The default is to show all of them no matter how many. It sounds like your setting has been changed to 30.

Check that and let us know if that fixes the issue.

        Re: no additional posts

        Charlie,

John's correct. I'd forgotten about that setting to limit posts per page. When your "Settings" are limited and there are more replies than the single page setting there will be multiple pagesshown at the top and bottom.
        TDB 20 Posts more than 1 page-Top.jpg TDB 20 Posts more than 1 page-Bottom.jpg

To change go to "Settings" at the top of the page. Select "General Settings" from the left hand column. I have my set to "Default".
TDB - Posts and Display Mode Defaults.jpg

If you set to "Hybrid" view mode, there's a root menu in the window that you can click on the posts. Also, you can click on the links in the email notices about more posts.

If you want us to look at that thread, please send us that specific thread link.

You might also want to close your browser and reboot your PC.

          Re: no additional posts

          Gentlemen, thanks for you responses.

What I can not do is get more than 30 replies to a thread. I can get all the messages I want per page that is not the problem.

We had 34 responses on a topic, but I could only view thirty.

All my settings in profile are set to default.

I looked at the settings and it was set for hybrid. I read that information and to be honest with you, I did not understand it.

Again, my problem is that I was cut off at response 30

Additionally, now when I log on, I get the screen as if I was a new member and I have to log on with my user name and password.

Sorry to be so much problem, but if you go to the topic of C4 intake numbers started by Jim Simpson, maybe you can see if you get more than 30 responses. When you first look at the selection you will see 33 replies but like I said I can only view 30.

          I have rebooted numerous times,

            Charlie,

Technical Forum main page listing for the 94 LT1 Intake thread
            TDB Thread.jpg

To see the last post, click on the double blue arrows on the right hand side on the thread listing. Last post arrows are circled in the example.

Read the FAQ's on the available views such as hybrid. The hybrid view and how to navigate the forum is explained very well in the FAQ's.
            TDB Hybrid View Tree.jpg

At the top of page you will see a thread root window which shows all of the posts made to that thread. Move the sliding arrow on the right hand side down or up to see the posts. Notice there's a "Y" in the thread root. When you're on one string of the root you can't see the posts in the other "Y" of the thread roots. You have to go back to the thread and find the where the posts "Y" in the other leg and click on one of them and follow that root string downward.

If following the thread roots doesn't work you may want to do the following.
            1) Clear/delete the cookies in your browser.
            2) Try another browser.

Gary and John, thank you for your help. I never saw/understood the Y factor. I was able to see all the posts after traveling down the two Y paths.

                Charlie,

Glad you got it figured out. Hate to keep harping on this, but tons of good info in the FAQ's on how to do things.

This is the FAQ link about the display view options https://www.forums.ncrs.org/faq.php?...xt=1&match=all

Do a search on reading posts, etc. and you'll find there's lots of neat little tips. Regards,
