    Screen Movement

I've sent this to the help desk and have gotten some great suggestions for a fix, but I still have the problem. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

I access the Tech. Board and all is fine.

I bring up the list of Forums and all is fine.

I select a Forum and list the Threads and all is fine.

I select a Thread to read and as I go through the Thread, some of the Avatars are moving up and down, in the next post it might be the title and in the next post it might be the text that a member entered.

It makes me dizzy and I have to stop reading. I'm running Windows XP, Internet Explorer V8.

    Anyone else seen this?

Yes, I have the same problem. Started at least a couple days ago, maybe longer!

I've installed all the Microsoft updates and it is still there. I have no idea what it is. I do not have the problem with Safari.

        Harry and Terry,

        1) Updated graphics drivers?
        2) IE8 compatibility mode turned on?
        3) Turned off any browser add-ons?
        4) Turned off virus software temporarily?

IE8 does not comply very well with website standards and does not support HTML5. Microsoft has pretty well abandoned IE8.

        Recommend using Chrome or FireFox.

Well, I tried everything I know. My solution will be to use IE8 for everything except the Tech. Board. I'll be using Safari for that. No problems with Safari.

Gary, thanks for the help. I think it's an unfixable technical problem!

              Mike, thanks on the car.

              I think IE9 is a Vista, Windows 7 app.
