Searching and the Post Icons

Post Icons "Using a Model Year Icon will enhance searching for your post."

In a search, do we have the ability yet to enhance it with the year or generation attributes? I've not seen where to use the feature.....unless I've missed it. I searched the FAQ for "icon" and nothing mentioned.

Rich, all you have to do is fine the Judging Year icon "56 57" you're wanting to search on a thread and click on it. Gary....

Yes I see when I do a search e.g. 1959 Soft Top, I get a bunch of results, and see the icon on the second column for a few threads. I was hoping it would allow me, in my advanced search field selection process, to give me only those results related to "58-60" etc. If I get 300 results I have to parse through all of the pages.

No big deal I now understand it better. I thought it was a bit more selective and a feature wasn't implemented yet. I always try to set the icon when I post but like always I myself forget sometimes.

You can also click the 58-60 icon when the results are shown. It will then filter out all the postings marked with this icon. Deactivation of the icon filtering can be done by pressing the Unfilter label in the header of the table (in the icon column).
