It is not intuitive how to start a new thread for a technical issue. The few times I have been successful in starting a new thread, I have somehow stubbled onto a box that says New Thread or Post new Thread, but for the life of me I cannot find that box easily. Please tell me how to find that box.

Re: How do I start a new Thread?
Michael, below is the information available from the FAQ. You did just fine in creating a new thread in the Help Forum. Use the same process in the Technical Forum. Gary....
How to post a new thread.
First go to the Forum where you wish to post. Technical Discussion Board, Help, or other
Click on thegraphic.
Be sure to give your message a descriptive Title.
You can use the editor functions in the window to adjust fonts and colors. Add smiley faces or other emphasis to your posting. You can also use theicon to attach a file, or the
icon to insert an image into your message. Words that are highlighted with a red dotted underline are spelling errors, or words that are not common. Right click on the word for suggestions for spelling errors.
Be sure and select an model year icon from the bottom of the message box to identify the model year your message or question pertains to. Before you hit the Submit Button you may want to look further down the page at the options that are available for your message. There is another chance to attach a file to your message, and also some choices about being notified of replies to your message.
Lastly before you click on the Submit Button you should click on the Preview Button to take a look at your message as others will see it.NCRS Texas Chapter
