I have to sign in more often then I never did in the past . Is this something new for the board now days

It could be that your anti virus software is deleting your cookies on a regular basis.

Plus, some computer 'clean-up/optimization' utilities will do this (remove cookies) too...

Having the same issue as Roy. No changes to any of my computers. Use mac @ home, pc @ work, and laptop when away. Have the same issue with all three now when I never had one before!

Check under tools, options, and see if save cookies until they expire is checked Bill

Admin might check that some antivirus heuristics list might now contain NCRS.org.

Don't use the "Log Out" item at the top of the page when you leave; I click on the "Forum Tools" item, and click on "Mark this forum read", then click on the "X" in the upper right corner of the window. Have never had to sign in.

If you are using FIREFOX browser this started at the latest rev a few months ago. Does not happen with old version of IE.

Nothing has changed on the server end. We haven't done any recent updates to the Tech Board software or any configuration changes.

I have mine setup to always have to log in since I from time to time have to log in as other users to test their credentials so I don't have the problem happen to me.

If you are using FIREFOX browser this started at the latest rev a few months ago. Does not happen with old version of IE.

I use Firefox and never had this happen. Either FF or IE will offer to 'remember' your login, in addition to the check box actually on the web site. If 'NO' was selected this may be your problem.
