    Membership List Set-up Why?

Why is the membership list set up like is is?
First names followed by last names?
    It's hard to find anyone.
    Example: 300 Al's....400 Ron's...700 Bob's....
    31 Sam's...(inflated numbers)

Why isn't the last name first?
    7 Smith's....1 Bromn....10 Brown's, etc.

It's time consuming trying to locate someone only
to find no listing or even if you did.

    Karl.

    Karl,

The membership list is set up that way probably for boards that just use log in names like MadMax or se?Kitten things like that. We are one of the few boards out that uses real users names. Since the software that runs this board is commercial software for the most part it does what the market wants it to do.

In order to work around that limitation you can go to Member List then from there click on the Search function. Type in the last name and the list will magically be ordered on Last Names sort of. Brown will include Browning and things like that, but it will speed up your search a lot. If you know the first and last name you can narrow your search pretty quickly. I had the learn this the hard way since from time to time I have to look up members.
