How would I search for "canister oil filter nut"?

"canister + oil + filter + nut" doesn't work.

I tried just doing a search using:

canister oil filter nut

The first thread it found was the thread you started with that exact title. I guess I'm not clear what the problem is. I did notice that it didn't use the word "nut" in the search because it was too common. I have been frustrated by that feature in the past. Maybe you are asking why can't we do an advanced search using and / or operators, etc.

If one uses search criteria: "oil filter canister nut", then the search engine finds all posts which include ANY of those words, creating a large number of "hits" which are irrelevant.

If you initiate a search using the word "canister" you should also see my thread among the "hits".

I asked a similar question about search words back in September. The response was that they are working on it and should have somthing in a few weeks. I have not seen any changes as of today.
