I tried to use it the other day but figured I was doing something wrong, or wasn't adding enough information for a search ("Zone" is the only number I'm sure of, remnants of tank sticker in that area are hard to read). I tried again today, but same problem, here's the error message I'm getting:

I just tried submitting a "ticket" via the "Help Desk" about this problem, and it went through.

Re: Dealer Codes Tab Appears To Be Broken

The Dealercode Database is hosted on the Chevelle.com website which is owned by the Camaro.com and ElCamino.com company. A long time ago we agreed to a sharing plan that allowed all of the different marquees to submit to and search the Dealercodes since we all share the same dealers.

The Chevelle.com and other sites were recently sold to a new owner. For some reason the Database has gone down on their site, and repeated attempts to find out what the problem is have gone unanswered.

Fortunately the previous owner provided a very recent copy of the data to me. Rob and I are now working to build the front end to support this on our site.

We will invite the Chevelle, Camaro and El Camino group to share it, but from our site where we know it will be available.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is out of our control at this time.

Thanks for the update John, and good luck in your efforts to make the data available again here on the NCRS Forum,

Re: Dealer Codes Tab Appears To Be Broken

We have setup the database now on our own server. The page www.ncrs.org/dealercodes.php is delivering the search and add functions which were previously available. John will repair the links on the other pages to point to this new page as well later this week or so...

              regards,
              Rob.

Thank you! Presently researching the origins of my 67 L-36, this is extremely timely and helpful.

The Dealercode Database is working now. I have set the link from the top of this page to take you directly there.

The links on the rest of the pages will be fixed as I can get them.
