Re: posting problem: admin. must add domain ??
Steven,
I assume I would need to add the domain for pic. to post into the configuration of the Tech Board. Since I don't have any idea what pic. to post is or what the domain name is I can't do that.
The Domain would be the www.?????????.com or ???????????.net or whatever.
I could take a look at it and if it is legitimate I could probably include it.
This does bring up the question of why you don't just upload it here where it will be stored with your post for as long as your post remains.Administrator

Re: posting problem: admin. must add domain ??
John, I thought that was what I was doing. I went to test forum, start new thread, scroll down to manage attachments, new window, (pop up) browse, up load file from my computer, finished upload, got white page message reads, (from same pop up window) " in order to post request originating from domain, the admin must add this domain to the white list". Does that mean admin (me,my computer setting) to add domain to a white list or ncrs website to add ??? Steve- Top

Re: posting problem: admin. must add domain ??
Steven,
I can't find any explanation for the error you are getting. I know of no whitelist for uploading files. No one else has run into this issue.
Let me make sure I understand. You are trying to upload an attachment (picture) from your machine to our server, correct? This is pretty straight forward and we are getting pictures uploaded all of the time from other users. Your upload is a jpg, gif, png, bmp, pdf, doc, or something similar file format? These are the main extensions supported, but there are others. What is the name of the file you are trying to upload?
Can we make and appointment where I can remote into your machine and try this for myself to see what might be causing the problem? I hope you are on broadband.Administrator
