Sorry about the members car photos

I think in the future it would be a good thing for people to post a picture of their car. Some people have spent thousands of hours on their Corvette. I would love to see photos of these cars. Yes there is issues and problems with security then don't post your photo, I understand but I think most of us will post a high reolution photo of their pride and joy if it was available on the site. If your car is not finished and not a driver then post a picture of a resto photo at what stage your resto is at in a resto photo section. I really think the site needs one !!! Sorry for bringing it up again

    STEWART-

I agree and no need to be sorry. Discussion is what America and Corvettes are all about!

I'd rather see pictures of correct driven corvettes restored or not. Over restored trailer queens are nice but they all are the same.

        Hi Stew.......
Love the idea of posting members car photos. At this point all I can do is look at these beauties and dream.
Putting cars with names and faces is part of the fun.
Love too the idea of a resto section.
It will be a while before mine hits the road and you better believe when I pull this off I will own bragging rights. And would like to post pix along the way.......
        Cheers, Sandy

          Hi Sandy,

This is me and my beautiful 99% Duntov Corvette.
          Isn't it groovy?
          I just looooooooooooove it!
          What, me worry!

OK, here is my 1974. Not a car that will be judged but it is driven and enjoyed.

              Hi Joe,
              Now that's funny.........
When mine gets on the road, I can hardly wait to see the look on the faces of the guys at the local shop when I ask them to put on studded winter tires.
And will post pictures of the hazards around here........the little car I drive was about 40 deep in cows a few days ago.....on a 'main highway' here. Haven't had a cow go after a car yet (although nearly knocked down a horse I was on a couple of months ago on a cattle drive). You retrain a cow like that with a .22 bullet.
It may not take long before mine looks like it ought to be pushing a plow too.

Paul.....that car is well worth posting. Beautiful piece of sculpture.
              Cheers, Sandy

Joe, looks to me that you lost the one percent due to the wrong color yellow on your blade - other then that it's a real charmer

                    Paul,

That is, indeed, a beautiful Corvette, but, alas, there are so many things "wrong" with it. To wit:

                    wrong tars
                    wrong wheels
                    wrong eqzaust tips
                    rong radio
                    rong speakers in kicks
                    wrongg decal in windshield
                    wrongg footwell protector
                    pant to shinny
wrong "reflection of photographer in shinny pant"

At least I tried to restore mine proper, like.

                    What, me worry!

Yes too much wrong but I guess I will not worry and just enjoy it. But thanks for tearing it apart. Give me some credit for the 2" "round" mufflers...

I put it in winter storage last week. Here is a pic at 28*F that day.

Gutsy colour. That colour has got to be the hardest colour in the world to keep. I once had a toyota twin turbo Supra that was mica red and after I bathed it I would slowly watch the dust settle on it and chamois it off again, I would do this for a while until the dust would win. I loved the colour but struggled with it as an every day driver those mungrel stone chips did my head in. Getting back to the photo this is the type of photos I'm talking about how good is that !!! and love the center lines. Great photo well done.

                            Hi Paul,
I've always enjoyed seeing pictures of your car(s). But this is the first time I've seen this one with the top up. I think the black looks GREAT! I hope you have some good projects to help speed the winter along.
                            Regards,
