I noticed in my profile it shows me 2 year older than I am. Birth year should be 49 not 47. I probably typed it in wrong but I cannot find a place to edit it. Is this correctable? Thanks

Michael,
From what I can tell only the administrator (a.k.a. John Waggoner) will have access to your date of birth.

Mine was the same way so I just deleated the birth year as that was an option.

Just a word of caution... Be careful about putting your birth date (or any other personal info) on any public forum. I've been the victim of ID fraud and it's not fun. As I recall, birth date was a mandatory field for signing into the NCRS system. It shouldn't be (mine is bogus, FWIW). With that said, it's a real shame that our society has come to this...

Show Age

Yes we asked for your birth date when you registered for the Technical Discussion Board. This information is useful for the NCRS to look at demographics of our membership.

By default only your age is shown in your profile for others to see. You do have the option of hiding your age as well by selecting that option in your profile.

Thanks for the clarification. FWIW, although the date I provided isn't exact, it's close enough that it shouldn't affect the NCRS demographic info very much.
