New Bookmark Feature

You can now bookmark posts you wish to keep track of. Open the post and look for the tiny icon bookmark.pngat the bottom of the page. Click on it and the post will be bookmarked for you. The icon will then be red. Click the red icon to un-bookmark the post.

You will then find all your bookmarks in the My Bookmarks link in the right column of the Home page under Latest Topics.

Also, what happened to any "subscribed threads" from the old software? Gone?
They aren't listed under my subscribed threads here.

Chrome here at the office has nothing. However, I just checked on my iPad, and the column shows in Chrome and Firefox.

The old subscriptions - gone?

Don't have a clue why your Subscription shows empty. Appears that Subscriptions only show new subscriptions since the upgrade.

Go to your User Profile and it shows 37 subscriptions. Click on 37 - see screenshot below.

Do I subscribe to a thread rather than a post with the large Subscribe button on the upper right?

I assume this is empty because it only counts posts, not threads?

Perhaps the settingz are preventing you from showing ALL, from ALL TIME.

Nope. Both "alls" are checked.

Interestingly, the right hand column showed up when I first pulled up the DB page today... and is now gone.
Some setting here is removing it from my display.

I am still assUming that subscribed posts and subscribed threads show in 2 different places, though no direct confirmation has yet been noted.

Per my previous post, new Subscribed Threads since the upgrade will be listed in "My Subscriptions" and previous Subscriptions are listed in your User Profile Subscriptions icon. That's the way Subscriptions work for me.

Internet trouble shooting procedure using cell phone & iPad:
1) cell phone - turn off WiFi to make sure you're using cell service Internet
2) if iPhone use Chrome app, since Safari doesn't work 100% with interactive websites like NCRS
3) cell phone - turn on Personal Hotspot
4) iPad access cell phone Personal Hotspot
5) go to forums.ncrs.org
6) login
7) check to see if right hand screen is present or not
8) surf the forum and go back to forum home page and see if right hand screen is present or not
9) if always present, then there's a situation with the other device and its Internet connection

Note: cell phone by itself can be used, but prefer to use the iPad since it has a larger screen

Check to see if your Automatic Subscriptions setting "Subscribe when posting" is checked.
