How did we get or even allow a Go Fund Me page on the NCRS Facebook?

Re: Go Fund Me...
Had to be on Facebook. Given Tech Board rules, a Go Fund Me on this site would have money belonging to NCRS.

"Yes, The NCRS part of Facebook. Did you look at it."
Harry
No I had not seen before my post. (Wife does Facebook, me not so much)
Sad situation, but agree, NCRS Facebook is not an appropriate spot.

Re: Go Fund Me...
Harry,
Proper protocol when an inappropriate post is made on the NCRS Facebook Group page is to report it to the Admins by clicking on the 3 little dots "... " on the upper right hand side of the post.

Re: Go Fund Me...
Kevin,
You can go to the Members list and it'll display the Admins. That's about all I know about Facebook.

Re: Go Fund Me...
I'm seeing, as above stated there are (2) FB NCRS pages or groups?
One showing 7,7k members, second showing 1,7k members. The FB members pop down did show the Admins on the smaller of the two groups. Is it safe to assume that the (4) admins mentioned are the same for the larger group?
I do understand that it not your specific "job" but my IT abilities are far below the average posters.- Top

Re: Go Fund Me...
Kevin,
Sorry, can't be of more help. The NCRS IT guys are not involved with the NCRS Facebook pages.
We're merely users like y'all. All I know if that the Admins are listed in the Members menu for all the pages.

Re: Go Fund Me...
One is a Facebook Group (1.7k members) which people join. This is a private group with 4 admins. Dave King, Brad Hillhouse, Sarah Larry, and the NCRS page.
The other is the NCRS page (7.7k likes, 7k followers). Last real posts were videos from French Lick, all by Brad Hillhouse.
National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS). 7,045 likes · 40 talking about this. The NCRS purpose is in the restoration, preservation, history and enjoyment of all Corvettes.
Hope that helps.- Top

Re: Go Fund Me...
NCRS Facebook pages. With NCRS in that label that would imply these are run, supported, and endorsed communication channels that NCRS provides for it's members who do social media?
P.S. This is a non-technical thread in a Technical Discussion Board...but....I guess that is ok...depending??....***************
