    Ncrs membership fee

Just renewed my membership. 60.00 seems high to me.I know the cost for the magazines and shipping are expensive but maybe for some a lower cost could be given for those that dont want them or young people cant afford that much. We need to keep attracting young people to our club.

I hear ya Ken, but I just took the family to McDonald's the other day (two adults, two kids) and it was over $40. Everything is expensive these days.

I recently struggled with weather to renew my membership or not. 60 a year may not seem much to most of the members but for me a lot given what I get out of it. I don't own a Corvette anymore, and I am lucky if I can judge at my local chapter once a year. the driveline and restorer a fun to read but what else? this forum is helpful at times.

You only get out of an organization like NCRS what you put into it!

Checking back issues of The Restorer membership fee 40 years ago in 1983 was $18.00. Inflation calculator puts that at about $56.00 today. So allowing for inflation NCRS appears to be about right. And I don't recall, but it wouldn't surprise me if back in '83 there were people complaining about it being $18.00

            Re: Ncrs membership fee

Some clubs have a less expensive membership option of receiving their newsletter/magazine on-line and forgo the printed copy.

Ken, Keith- I'm not sure if input about the club made in this feedback and suggestion forum results in consideration and change. You may need to share your views with your regional director and/or the board directly.
