It may be feasible to make this a "Sticky"....
A while ago embedded links to threads in the archives changed. Old links began with the string.... "https://www.ncrs.org/...."
Presently all Links are now prefixed with "https://www.ncrs.org/....". Note the "s" after http. "s" = secure. This method helps keep the site safe.
Example:
https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthre...367#post688367
If you click on the above link it will not work. It will take you to a disoriented Forum TDB header page.
The Workaround: Right Click mouse over the link. Left Click "Copy Link Address"(Chrome), or however it's done in your favorite Browser.
Open a new Browser Tab or Window. In the Browser field, Right Click, then Left Click Paste. Add the letter "s" to the "http" string. ("https")
Set your cursor to the end of the field. Hit Enter. The Link should resolve and display properly.
Below is the same link which works properly after the modification.
