    Membership List

Is there a membership list on this site? I need help in inspecting a car about 100 miles from Albuquerque and would like to see if there is someone that could help me for a fee.

yes, click on Community and then Members List in the tiny tool bar above under the club banner. Names are listed by first name, so you would have to skim page by page looking at location to find Albuquerque members. Easier would be go to Contacts in large tool bar and look down the list for the New Mexico chapter. Then write or call the chapter chairman and or judging chairman. And ask them to recommend someone to you.

      Lynn,

Don is correct. The best bet is to contact the New Mexico Chapter to see if they can recommend. We don't supply membership lists for privacy reasons.

Thanks all! I did that and contacted a 'very frequent user' in New Mexico who turned out to be Bill Wilhelm who along with his friend Rick were a great help in steering me clear of getting scammed.

          Re: Membership List

I always struggle to find my way to this list. Could Community or Member List be added to the site map? Also the 'select tabs' are different on the home page so I spend time wandering around trying to remember how to invoke the broader tab listing that sometimes appears.

Odd that the Google search will not return this list as an option when one enters "Community" or "Member List". Not sure how to make that work.

          Thanks for all you do.

          Jeff

Well, if you look at the top of the page you posted your message on there is a COMMUNITY drop-down menu - CLICK IT! And, then that opens to MEMBER LIST - CLICK IT! Voila, you have names listed as was mentioned. Pretty straight-forward from just about page once you have logged on to the website

              Re: Membership List

Thanks, Rick. That is correct. My problem is, when I land on the home page I can't remember where that Community link is, nor can I remember that the Membership list is under that link. Again, it would be helpful to add the Membership link or the Community link or both to the site map.

              Best regards,

              Jeff

                Jeff,

There is a fine line here with the membership list. We don't want that to be too accessible by non-members. Putting it in the site map would mean that Google and other search engines would index it and make it known that it was available.

Best bet is for you to make a favorite in your browser to take you directly there: https://www.forums.ncrs.org/memberlist.php

If you will go to the link above and once there press the CTRL key and the d key at the same time it will create a favorite in your browser. You can then go to your favorites and find it anytime you wish.

                  Re: Membership List

I was able to change the link at the top of the page that was Community to now show Members. Hope that makes it a little clearer.

                    Re: Membership List

Thanks, John. That will be helpful. I have created the favorite. Now I just need to remember that I did so.

I get your point on the privacy thing. That said, I attempted to get to the list without logging in and was unsuccessful; maybe I didn't do it right or maybe non-members can't get to the list anyway. You would know better than anyone.

                    Thanks again.

Non members are not supposed to be able to access the list. We still don't want to advertise that there is any way to get to it.
