Can someone advise as to "why" I had to "log in" this AM to read threads? What changed?

      Re: Log in?

I have to log in each and every time I get on the NCRS board. It's because the computer is set to clear cookies every time I log off!

        Re: Log in?

Well, I haven't changed anything and after "log in" to place the message above, had to "log in" AGAIN to place this message.

                Re: Log in?

Lately I can log in at the home page, and have to log in again when I want to get into the tech discussion. Often I'll have to log into the home page though I checked 'remember me'. then log in again to get into the tech discussion. I do not have this problem with any other forum outside of NCRS. ????

                  Joe,

Logging in and keeping logged in is controlled by Cookies. We place a cookie on your computer when you check the box to Remember Me! It sounds like your cookie may have become corrupted and needs to be deleted and reset.

You could delete your Discussion Board cookie by going to https://www.forums.ncrs.org/register/ResetCookie.php without deleting all of your cookies.

After you do that close your browser and then open it back up. Come back to the TDB. You will have to log in to reset your cookie, be sure to check the box to "Remember Me!". Once you have done that leave the Tech Board and close your browser. Open your browser and come back to the Tech Board and see if it works normally.
