Not technical but -- NCRS decal ?

Should I have gotten a decal when I re-joined the NCRS after a hiatus of several years?
I didn't get one and don't know if I should have or ir they are only a "For Sale" item...

You can order through the online store. I'd recommend tacking 1 or 2 stickers on with a larger order - at $2 a piece, paying $4 shipping for a $2 sticker seems kind of a waste.

If you go to any of the meets where NCRS has a booth set up (Florida Regional, National Convention or Corvettes at Carlisle come to mind, but there are others -- they were at the Carolinas Regional recently) you can get one in your hand for the asking. You might have to use the word please, but that is about all you will need.

Also at many Regional or Chapter Meets they are usually available (very cheap or free). Will you be at Joplin? Don H.

Our Pittsburgh Chapter Judging chairman always keeps a supply of NCRS decals on hand. I think other judging chairman do the same.

If you're coming to the Florida NCRS Chapter meet in Crystal River this Saturday (May 16), I'll give you one. Let me know.

That's OK Chuck - have another car commitment Saturday and I've ordered decals off of here already.
Thinking of getting the split window judged.

I've made a list of all the stuff I'll have to put BACK on the car (which I removed) to get the originality points.

With the exception of bias-ply tires, a mechanical clock (mine is quartz) and the original shifter (mine is a Hurst) I think I have everything.
The Vintage Air A/C will hurt me, but I'm not removing that !

One of the members who will have his 67 SB coupe at the meet Saturday has Vintage Air installed. He's had the car judged previously at both Chapter meets and Regional meets (Kissimmee), and has scored in the 95 + range, getting Top Flight Awards. His goal, however, is to score 97 or above.

My point is that you CAN do it with VA installed.

Mike, I've not had to judge a car with Vintage Air but I have had to judge exterior on a C2 with non-original side pipes. I would think the judging process is the same. I don't judge the added side pipes, I judge was has been deleted or altered to add the side pipes. Meaning, I would not judge the Vintage Air but was has been deleted or altered in install the Vintage Air. Quickly thinking I do not think it's a significant number of points.
